I know it was in theaters way back in December of last year, but I had a bad case of Dawn Treader fever then and paid little attention to other things. We rented Tron Legacy Wednesday night, and I really liked it. The original reason I'd wanted to see it was because Garrett Hedlund is in it, playing the main character Sam Flynn, but the story is really cool, the graphics are brilliant, and the soundtrack is incredible. Now, ahem, back to Garrett, lol. In this one scene in the beginning of the film he's talking to someone in his apartment/garage/house neat-looking-place-where-he-lives, and something in his voice, maybe the deep, cocky tone, reminded me so much of Luke. It was quite lovely.

What, you think I won't jump off this tower? 'Cuz I will so jump off
this tower. (Not the actual line here, but I got creative.) |

(sorry if the transparency thing about this blog template is messing up the pictures; I don't know how to change it!)
DBF Out!
Ahh, good ol Tron Legacy. But, you being my dear friend, I must be honest with you... *sigh here goes.... I did not like the movie. *Shields face. There I said it! The effects were, I agree, great and the acting was good. The whole movie to ME seemed a little dark and not being able to see the sky and the grass frankly creeps me out. I don't know why. But I AM glad that you enjoyed yourself.:) Haha I see how you snuck that Luke comment in the ;) haha funny photo captions. I do think Olivia Wilde was cool though.
ReplyDeleteLol, it's all good. I don't think I could stand it if we liked ALL the same stuff. My sister Isabelle didn't like it either. I can see what you mean about the lack of natural basics, though it didn't bother me. It kinda makes me think of "9", which I also liked. Thanks for being honest; I greatly appreciate it in my friends, no matter how small or great the issue. :)
ReplyDeleteI actually did like '9', so I don't know why I didn't like Tron as much. Huh.... I kinda liked how artistcally done 9 was, and how it was animated it was super unique and all. Honesty is a great virtue that I like to follow haha :)
