Today we got back from our church's annual Memorial weekend camping trip. It was fun; bicycling, good food, music, wading in the river. Yesterday my dad, sisters, a couple of friends and I rode our bikes to some little swimming holes. I had forgotten to pack my swimsuit, so I was just going to wade while they dared to dunk into the chilling water. Then they started splashing. I abandoned grown-up-ishness and jumped in, clothes and all. Very cold. Very satisfying.
But my favorite thing to do at this campground is to walk alone down the trail along the river in the morning. It's magical. Here are the pics I took on this morning's walk:
Beneath the...well it's not a mallorn tree, but that's what pretending is for. ;) |
DBF Out!
These photos are sooo pretty. They look like professionals. I'm glad you had fun on your camping trip. I know I always have fun during stuff like that. Our campground doesn't have a really pretty woods like that :)
ReplyDeleteThank you. The second one kinda makes me think of that part in LotR when the hobbits are on the road and the start bending oddly with the approach of a ring wraith.
ReplyDeleteThat is, the TREES start bending oddly, lol.
