My apologies...

for not posting for over a week.  I have been working on a project to post, and it has been a struggle from which I am not emerging very successful. But if at first you don't succeed, try try again. Or compromise. (I made up that last part xD) Anyway, to catch up with my life:

1. I won't be in The Miracle Worker, but my littlest sister will. I still know nothing about Robin Hood, though I came out of auditions feeling pretty confident.
2. I received an invitation from the National Conference for Young Leaders to attend a 10-day conference in Washington D.C. It costs a lot of money, but I'll apply for their scholarship and hopefully I'll get to go around June of this year. There'll be speeches by some government people that I really know nothing about, but also a banquet, dance, and a trip to the Smithsonian Museum. So, yeah. I'm hoping I get to go, even though I have little ambition for becoming a government leader.
3. Spring is feelin SO good!
4. The latest Pirates 4 trailer has got me even more impatient for May 20 to get here.
5. Filming has at long last begun for The Hobbit, and Orlando Bloom will return as Legolas. Lemme hear a big loud HALLELUJAH! The only thing is, it's predicted release date is around December of 2012. >.<
6. Two weeks and a day. Keep breathing Caroline, the Dawn Treader will come. (Waiting for movies is going to be the death of me.)
7. I have recently discovered just how wonderful the crock pot is. Right now the scent of barbecued ribs is wafting through the house making me hungry.
8. I just this minute heard a low grumble of thunder. They're giving crazy storm warnings for my area, even tornadoes, which is very strange since I'm in the mountains.

Well, there you have it; a good dose of randomness.
Keep smilin'!

  1. Congrats!!!! That's so cool that you get to go to that conference. How did you get in it may I ask? :) And sorry about the first play, but keep it up for Robin Hood. I know movies are killing me! haha I'm super excited for the new Pirates, there's going to be mermaids, and I saw some concept art of some zombies and they look pretty creepy. If you go to MovieInsider.com you can search the movie and you get tons of photos and news on it. It's kind of like IMdb.com but easier :)

  2. "It's kind of like IMdb.com but easier"

Haha, idk why, but that line made me giggle. (x

YAAAAAY you're alive! I will cover everything one item at a time. And, to do so, I am going to use my good friend Google Translate to number said replies in FINNISH! Cause... well... just cause.

YKSI. Congrats to your sister! I'll keep praying for ya for Robin Hood... which part did you audition for?
KAKSI. :O!! That's super awesome!! I hope that you'll be able to go. That sounds like one of those once-in-a-blue-moon things. Be sure to take lots of pictures if you do!
KOLME. a-MEN. Spring and fall OWN winter and summer.
NELJA. Ahhh, I haven't seen it yet, but I know what you mean! I've missed the pirates! (:
VIISI. :O!! I had a mini heart attack when I read that. HUZZAH! Oh dear, that's a long way away, but perhaps it will come out on my birthday! Can you say "amazing 19th"? I believe I can! (Mehhhhh, typing 19 just suddenly made me feel old...)
KUUSI. MEHHHI'MSOIMPATIENT. I saw on either NarniaWeb or Aslan's Country that it's the third most pirated movie of 2010, which makes me sad. Ehhm, that was probably not a wise thing to say after "MEHHHI'MSOIMPATIENT". Should have thought that through. I'm waiting just like the rest of the honest internet community! Haha, awhh, poor distressed DBF...
SEITSEMAN. Mmmmmm, that sounds divine! Now I am hungry.
KAHDEKSAN. I'm seriously starting to think that we're closer than I thought... it's been storming like crazy here for a few hours now! Which isn't so bad cause I adore storms. But I'll pray that it's not anything too severe where you are! (:

Haha, now I have been entertained by a dose of randomness, AND have learned how to count to eight in Finnish. I'm sure that it will come in handy someday.

  4. This is why I blog; you guys are just too insanely cool. I'm a storm lover too. Something about the heavy rain, crazy wind, and roaring thunder just makes me feel so alive! Bwahahaha!!!(Oh dear, I hope I'm not going maniac.)
Good gracious, and I'll be 18 when The Hobbit comes out. Yikesters. And Kellie will be 17. I think I'll stop here; I'm scaring myself.

  5. I could very easily say the same! (: Haha, you're not alone there. I hope that it sticks around. Storms are the best lullabies.
Oh deary me... I feel like if I turn around and look in the mirror, I'll see grey hair and wrinkles. O.O

  6. Oh my! I feel so young! But so old when I think 17 lol. That reminds me of the movie 17 Again (that was pretty good for a Zac Efron movie)
And yes take LOTS of photos if you go to the conference. :)

  7. To Queen Elizabeth: Sorry, I meant to answer your question about the conference earlier. I didn't even know about this thing till I got the invitation, so my mom thinks my SAT scores may have something to do with it. I took the test in November 2010, and I had them send my scores to various places. I just hope I get to go!
Ah me, let us savor youngness whilst it is ours and not darken it with worries of the inevitable. Actually, if Christ returns soon enough, we won't have the chance to get old. That'd be nice. :)

  8. Haha. Yea I hope Christ returns after I have a chance to get a job and raise a family though :)

  9. I kinda feel the same way. One of the questions I frequently ask my mom is, "Will there be romance in heaven and the new earth?" Because I've never experienced so much as a hand-holding, though I want to. I know heaven's going to be wonderful, but I feel like there's so much I've yet to discover and be in this world.

  10. Yea. My mom was doing a women's study at our church and said that their won't be romance. Our mindset will be different in heaven I guess. But we can never really know of course, until it happens. :)
