This is my post

For lack of a better title, lol.  I just felt like posting, so I am.  I went to Narnia Web today, and yaaayyyy! There will be deleted scenes on VDT! And there'll be a three disc edition. And the covers look good, except the three disc one didn't have Caspian, which is wrong because it has the White Witch on it. Crazy cover people. At least Edmund and Lucy were on them all.
Also while I was on Narnia Web, I thought I'd take a walk down memory lane and read the December posts where we DBFs first met.  It was fun, and funny, at times.  We left a zillion comments, just saying random things about our lives and how much we love Skandar; thank goodness we started blogging, xD.

It was raining earlier today, so I went walking in it. I like to suck the rainy air into my mouth and then exhale through my nose; it tastes fresh. But now you'll never guess what the weather's doing. Did you guess? Yep, it's snowing. And then on Saturday it's supposed to be sunny and 64 degrees. Sheesh.
Speaking of Saturday, I'll be auditioning that morning for *drumroll* Robin Hood! I'm so excited, but also anxious. I want to audition perfectly, so I can get a good role. I thought maybe Maid Marion, but then I'd possibly have to kiss Robin, and I don't really want to that. O.o My friend told me about another female character who has a dramatic death scene; if I got that role, I'd be a happy camper, er, actress.

Some movies I've watched recently: Prince of Persia, Shrek The Final Chapter, and Robin Hood (can you tell I like Robin Hood?).  I didn't really like Prince of Persia; it didn't captivate me.  Shrek was cute, but not the best animated movie I've seen. Robin Hood, starring Russel Crowe, I liked.  It was more of a "merry adventures" prequel, and it was neat to see a new take on the legend. Cate Blanchett was a wonderful Maid Marion, and the country was breath-taking. However, no matter how many movies I watch, I can never get my mind off of 2010's best movie.  Just a month, week, and a day, and then the Dawn Treader makes port at my dvd player.

Narnia out!

  1. I remember when I first started talking to you via narnia web comments I thought you were an obssessed Skandar fan lol and I thought The other Pevensie girl was this wise person that only did a few comments or so. Now you guys are pure awesome!! :D
I love Cate Blanchett, expecially in "Queen Elizabeth" I ack-chellay liked Prince of Persia, it had good CGI. Although they did pretty much give away who the "bad guy" was before the movie came out, showcasing the uncle on the movie posters under the headline of "evil" or something. haha
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR AUDITION! I know you'll get some part, and even if it isn't the huge lead, you'll do a great job. :)

  2. Ha ha, I know. I was literally sobbing when I found out that Skandar and Georgie had been so close to me and I didn't know it. I see why you thought I was some crazed fan girl. And then I thought you were like some adult narnia fan because you seemed so mature. I'd never imagined we'd have so much in common.
When I read the story line for Prince of Persia, i was like,"This will be awesome!" And then after I saw the movie, I thought, "Why didn't I love that?" I LOVE time travel movies, and the whole hour glass/dagger thing was really cool, but for some reason, it just didn't satisfy me. But I'm glad you liked it. :)
And thank you. The people at my local theater are reallly nice, and they never make me feel like I've failed. So I've got that goin' for me. The worst part will be waiting to hear what part I got; that'll take a month or two. ;(
(For some reason, I'm rather long winded today)

  3. That's good that the people at your theater are like that. Everyone at my school's drama club is really great too, and our director is hilarious! She's so nice. The play we are doing now is calle "Dear Reggie" I don't know a ton about it but it's modern day about a kid who writes a play in highschool. So that shall be interesting. I guess I'll be painting fake lockers and classrooms. For our last play "The Polar Bear Prince" I was in charge of drawing out the snowy arctic backgrounds, then we used sparkly fabric and droped them to make the northern lights.

  4. The one that started it all! I always used to laugh every time that I went to that post because of how many comments were accumulating there in such a short time span haha. I also remember skimming through the comments, and reading some of your earlier conversations, and thinking "man, it'd be so cool to know people like that!". Ahh, NarniaWeb. What would we do without you?

Oh, good luck with the audition! :D I know you'll be great!

Mmm, I regret to say that I have yet to see any of those films. I'll have to take your word for them, though! AhhhhhhhHHHHH Dawn Treader. The anticipation is killing me slowly. I have a countdown on my pc, and it's like "you have endured xx days, xx hours, xx minutes, and xx seconds since you last saw VDT", then "only xx days, xx hours, so on and so forth, till the DVD is out!". I think I have out-Narniaced myself there... (x

  5. And lest I forget... I adore the picture of Skandar and Georgie with the lion cub you have on here! The text on it is so perfect. It still vexes me that they were so close to me and I completely missed it, but pics like that compensate some haha.

  6. I love that about the endurance counting, lol. Last time I saw it was Dec. 10! O.O
I did the same thing about the Narnia Web comment accumulation. That was funny. At one point, me and Queen Elizabeth and this other girl were commenting about our Christmases!

  7. Oh deary me, now I feel spoiled... I saw it last on New Years Day with a few friends. I no longer have any room to complan!
Haha, sounds riveting! I should skip down memory lane in the near future. (:
